I bought the #8214. Too lazy to put them on but they look good sitting on my shelf:p

Respirators, are more complicated than most people think. If you need one, you need to get the right "filter cartridge", and pre filter if needed.
Must of what I do is with dust of a "biological nature" cleaning off sewage eguipment etc. I use a dust mask. I buy a package of them at the "Box store"
Depending on what your doing, and if your doing it commercial with employees. Resperators are a pain with osha regs, Physical exams, fit tests, record keeping, etc.
If your concerned about welding fumes, your better off with a good cross ventilation, or smoke removal system.

Yeah that is kinda what I have found now. I guess the next job will be a welding hood over the table. Hmmmmm wonder where I can pick up a small squirrel cage. I have a old one from a furnace but that would be a bit of overkill. :) Seems somene posted somewhere about them. Surplus center perhaps? I'll give a look. thanks again.

how about a laundry dryer blower..they real cheap at the dump err,,transfer station:)
