HF, if I'm correct, means Harbor Freight Tools. Web address: www.harborfreight.com/ :) :)

Thanks. I kinda thought that. What did your scroller cost? I've been looking.

Got mine two weeks ago, had to take it to the grinder to knock some edges down, but once I "fixed it", the $25.00 thing worked great. made a little practice heart shape, and a little planter hanger in about 5 minutes.

Here is a question...

What has everyone done to anchor their bender? I am not too keen on drilling into my recently epoxied garage floor... Would a truck tire full of Quickcrete work or would it roll too much? any ideas of how to keep the thing from running away when you do thicker stuff?

Oh yeah, here is the link:

it plugs into the top of either the benchtop or the bigger bender.

Here is what I did to mount mine. 2" .120 sq tubing, duplicate the hole spacing, weld some angle to space it up and now I can clamp it to any flat surface.

You know those nice square sign posts the highway department uses, they make great plug in mountings for small tools.
You can either pull a sign yourself, or ask nice for one of the bent posts, since they toss the entire length when one gets bent. The holes are already predrilled, and index perfectly.

Here is how I mounted my Shop Outfitters Bench Mount Scroller. It is two pieces of sucker rod welded together on a piece of 1/4".

This is the receiver. It is two pieces if angle welded together because I did'nt have any square tubing at the time. It is welded to my table and is also used with my small vise in the same way.

Here is a shot of it in the receiver.

I mounted mine out on the driveway next to the Magic Garage. I used "Hilti anchors" to mount it.

If your going to HF for the scroller or bender, print the internet prices\pages and bring them with you. I bought the bench top bender at the store and saved almost $50. But you do have to have the paper or they wont honer it..
