Well I could tell you that, but I get the impression you don't like being lied to. I need to put some holes in the concrete and to do that I have to find my damn bits. They are not going to be anything fancy just some 1.5 or 2" angle iron pieces to catch the three open sides.

Planet X.......Why don't you just make another bracket like the top one and place it near the bottom of the tanks? Then you would not have a need for drilling holes in the concrete. Just a thought.

Gee, if you were just closer, I'd loan you the Hilti TE 17.
Angle curbs work just fine, as long as they will keep the cylinder from kicking out.
Another way to do it is using a rachet strap on the saddle to cinch the tanks up.
I've seen a few racks like that where the guy forgot the curb, and one where the owner was very unhappy he did when the regulator busted off on the way down.
Lot easier to do it right the first time, so you don't have to find time to fix it later.

Yeah I have been waiting to try to score one of those drills somewhere- Home depot gets $65 a day or is it 1/2 day , just to rent the suckers.
If I had a good rotary hammer I would have my benders mounted and I would not have to screw around with cut/fit so much.
Thanks, though I often forget about who may be checking this stuff out and since I am not getting paid right now to keep people in the Gene pool I often skip what I think are obvious safety conclusions.
I will to do better in my future posts.
This lower bracket should work fine-that is until the big one hits and CA finally falls in the Ocean:D

Yeah it is over kill- sweet talked my wife to get me some since she was going to town-not her fault I just jotted down some quick numbers off the top of my head- usually she does not hear what I say-this time she did go figure:p :eek:
