1991 lincoln classic I sa200 for 2000$ currently i have a 300 red face but want to down grade in size and use the 300 as my back up. Is this 200 a decent machine to throw on my rig. Im over in north dakota and am not pipelining just pipe fab. Please let me know what you guys think asap

you have a new 300 red face? and if so, if the 200 is diesel you only shaves like 100lbs off machine weight but then the machine(200) spins 200rpms (1600rpm VS 1800rpm)SLOWER than the 300, (which is good IMHO) all of my 1950's model's twist @ 1400rpm and i wouldn't trade them for any other machine as i have tried each of them over the last 25yrs and prefer the arc characteristics and consistency of the slower machines....once again IMHO....not to say the new 200/300's are not great machines i just found something that works for me....now on to the price....2k....is about the most i would pay for a 20yr old machine NOT gone through by a reputable repair shop like tom's etc. with paper proof that it checks out....good luck!
