Some sort of contest to do with welding of fabrication. I think it would have grat feedback. Just my thought!

Good idea..but I think we do something like that already in the Pics forum..

When sombody posts something nice...Everyone that views it wants their welds to come out better next time..
So its sort of like a competition anyway..

Myself....I say "Yeah sure why not"..
But it would not be fair with the people just learning..

If it was to work somehow you would need "classes" like in racing..

Newbes..Advanced...Seniors...Pros...and Killers..
And you'd need to seperate all the processes..

Myself..I'd have to pass be a Judge..

I have an "unfair advantage" over most here..:laugh:





















Or you could just give me the "Golden Tig Torch" award now...:jester:

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe the prize could be cheap plane tickets to Zap's next TIG class? Too far of a drive for me.. And the winner brings the cold beer!

I thought more on the line of a certian object shelf, table, toolbox whatever!

where there is no set blueprint just solely from the fabricator's mind.

I thought it would be neat and also having say an aluminum and steel class :)
