I've had my Millermatic 185 for a year or so and want to weld some aluminum. I know TIG makes prettier welds and I also know I don't have the time/patience to learn to TIG that well. I'm looking at adding a Spoolmate 3035 and getting another gas cylinder.
I'm currently building over the wheel well ramps inside my racing trailer and need to weld up aluminum extension ramps and I'm going to build aluminum extended ramps for my auto lift. I have not purchased materials yet, but maximum thickness would be 1/4" (could limit to 3/16 if necessary).
Are there any significant limitations to this setup?
Thanks in advance,
