Freak accident

Novice tigger here;however, done a few jobs with tig. Not sure if this could have been prevented or not....I'm sure it could have but believe it was just pure fate.
Heres the deal...I was at the end of the weld and let go of the electrode and the HOT electrode fell on the table then because of the length of it fell off the table and it got wedged between my prettyface and helmet:cry: :eek:

Anyway just another scare. This was Sunday night pic done last night.

I guess this means that you are earning your stripes...lol

don't let go of the electrode next time until about 30 seconds go by...then it will be cool. Better yet, get a tube to stick your electrodes in so they won't go anywhere.

How in the world did you drop your electrode?
