Since I have a propenscity to make other things out of all the propane tanks currently considered scrap thanks to government regulation, I needed a way to remove the valves easily.
This wrench is made from 3/4 bar stock welded to an old 1/2" socket that allows me to use an impact wrench for removal.
All propane tanks are vacuumed down before the valve is removed, and then charged to a positive pressure with Co2 prior to valve removal for safety reasons.
