I'm a hobby weldor been playing with metal for 10+ yrs, some have called me a metal artist. General car nut (97 WS6 Trans Am sitting next to my 76 Datsun 280Z, Caddy CTS as a daily driver). Pretty laid back so I'm told, good sense of humor. Wife, 2 kids....what else ya wanna know?

thats good stan, nice having you around! Im a sponge here, trying to learn from you guys. I do heart surgery on infants and children for a living but do the welding as a hobby. LOVE welding and all things metal! If i didnt do the surgery thing i'd be a weldor fo sho! Im an artist too and wrote / illustrated a book about my day job (google "L. Eliot May Pediatric Heart Surgery , a Ready Reference for Professionals" and you'll find it if you are so inclined). Glad to have you as a contact in this sweet world of welding. Just thankful that i dont HAVE to do it for a living cuz im a pretty crappy weldor!

A surgeon weldor, can't say I've heard of many Doc's that weld for a hobby. (protect those hands!!). Once you catch the metal bug it's hard to get rid of! Thanks for the intro.
