I shelled out for some prescription safety glasses, so yeah I always wear them.

Absolutely! I have had enough sparks, BBs and slag rattling around under my hood that I wouldn't weld without specs on.

Without fail. Saved my eyes many times.
wow, I expected at least one no...
So I will admit that I don't use safety glasses always when I am just welding. But I did notice that my "sun glasses" safety glasses do a good job when the sun is behind you and reflects off you glass. (hate that) with the shades on no problem!

There is nothing macho about working unsafely and that includes wearing safety glasses in the shop environment.
You can walk with a wooden leg
You can eat with false teeth
But you can't see with a glass eye
Never had anything agents them, just don't always have some.
So what are some good glasses (comfort and fit) that you guys like?
A friend had a set of safety glasses that look like big swimming goggles, that totally seal around his eyes, I have always wanted a set like that.

The fellow in this pic is obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even he is trying to protect his vision. 12145
The work boots are also nice!
