I searched but didn't find any info on this model. I saw the Dual mig 151 thread, seemed positive. Anyone have the dual mig 171 or any feedback on the Dual mig 171? It's on sale and I need to make a stand for my new knee mill  .

The 151 is on sale for $130  and the 171 is $300. Think it's worth the extra money?

Just noticed the $130 is for a factory reconditioned model :nono: , new is $300 also. I guess it's a no brainer unless I feel like waiting for the 151 to go on sale. Bigger is always better right :D:laugh: ?

I wonder if they'll accept the 20% off coupon? :jester:

I have the older Dual Mig 180. It's basically the same machine except that it has a few more bells and whistles (a spotweld timer, burn back and slope-up controls). It's a good machine (made in Italy) and has served well for five years. This is a good price and compares well with a Hobart Handler 140 as far as functionality is concerned. It's not a Millermatic 180, but gets the job done.

My appologies -- it appears that I gave you the wrong info concerning this machine. It appears that HF has TWO Mig welders with the Dual-Mig 171 designation.

The one I was referring to is this one

I have don't have any info on the 93793 model. It may be made in China in which case it may be suspect.

Sorry!!
