I've googled and yahoo'd 'clarke welding' amoung another million keyword searches and come up empty. Does anyone have a website or hell, a phone number to contact the Clarke Welding Company (the one who makes the machines naturally) I have a friend at work who's mig went out and he is looking to contact, as well he is as good as his broken machine and lost his paper work!

Help Please!

Regards,
Rob

The one thing that makes me nuts about Clarke is their lack of a good web-site. You can go here:

http://www.clarkeusa.com/

Then navigate to the parts lists and find the welders. That's about it. It really blows. You would think that a few pages with some pictures and some specs might actually help sell some product.

If you want a manual, e-mail customer service and request a specific manual. They will e-mail you the PDF form. Unfortuneately, their manuals also leave a lot to be desired.

You will get more by surfing the Bulletin boards and looking at the box at a local retailer in your area. Several places carry them. Unfortunately, it looks like they under-represented in the fall Northern Tool catalog.

Good luck,

My wife just last week went to their sales seminar and I ate lunch with one of their bigshots...he even said their website sucked!!
Supposedly they are coming out with a 220v tig soon.
!0 yr warranty is a pretty big thing in my book. (yep 10)
I need to dig thru some of the stuff she brought home to the store.
