Have any of you worn a welding shirt from Martin Brothers?

I'm actually stopping by their small factory in Idabel, OK on my way to Arkansas at the end of this week to check them out.

If you haven't noticed from the few posts that I've made here, I'm all sorts of pro-US made stuff.

Looks like a great shirt, but a lousy website.

I wish I could somehow post the voicemail they left me. Straight from the south old men working there. I'm most likely going to pick one up when I visit the shop.

For that price I'll just keep buying Carhartt long sleeve work shirts for $30 at the local work clothing outlet.

The issue I have had is with the snaps............

I always do XXXX Heavy Starch and press. this makes the shirt last much longer. If the snaps are of low quality material they will break, fail to snap or just disentergrate when they press the shirt.

I go with simple, old fashioned buttons (keep some spares). I install velcro on the sleeves to keep the sparks from getting in just above the cuff of my glove.

Thanks,
