Greetings All,
Another newby question?
I have found a newer model, Beverly right-angle Shear on ebay, not what I was looking for though.
How often do these stationary shears become available? I like the low-tech way these shears work.
Is this what I want for the occasional patch panel 12-16 gauge steel?

They show up on ePay from time to time, BUT, I wouldn't buy one there for anything.
I've seen too many Beverlys sold for decent money in auctions where people had the chance to try them, and didn't find out till they went to use the shear a week later that it was sprung because somebody was sure it would cut 3/16 plate.

Hey Dawg,
Did you get your shears at an auction, or a sale? I need to look around some more I guess?
Thanks,
