I have they opprotunity to pick up a L tec welder for fairly cheap. It is a squarewave and will do a little over 300amps its water cooled. I heard that Linde became L tec then they became ESAB is true and is this machine any good

I would say go for it if the price is right. Probably be hard to find parts, but probably won't need them. My Dad has a lot of L-tec stuff.

I have a heliarc306 l-tec ac/dc unit that cranks out 380 amps. Awesome machine!!! Esab has replacement if you need them.

yep, l tech bought linde, esab bought l tech.........

if you need a manual or anything search threw the esabna.com pacge, if you dont see it e mail the techs and they will send you one.

I have a old linde mig, and can buy parts for it no problem. conumables threw airgas and hard parts threw RJ kates in san diego ca.......
