Where did the "Putting up not shutting up" thread go?

Another mystery,, the "Putting up not shutting up" thread seems to be on the MIA list.

Can't but wonder what was so bad in there that it got pulled.

I've seen these same mysteries on another site, one that I no longer deal with.

No mystery: the thread was one of a few that represented nothing more than the effort by a few individuals to stir up this site and take it away from the intended purpose of providing a community for people to discuss welding projects, issues, etc.

While it has not been our practice to remove content from the site, it was my decision that the extreme levels of incivility represented in that thread and a few others posted by the same people during the same period of time set an example for reduced behavior standards. The community indicated in several ways that, on the whole, these lower standards were undesirable.

Following the standards of the community at large, I decided it's best not to leave content that didn't serve to add knowledge but did serve to make this a worse environment.
