View Full Version : Airco Wasp III E
I have an old (1970 something) Airco Wasp III E portable welder/generator that someone (not me) did some work(?) on. Or to be less polite he/she screwed up the wiring!
Anyone have a wiring diagram or know where I can locate one? It would be great to be able to carry on a tractor and use it away from a power source.
Thanks
Pat

You might find a circuit diagram stuck inside the generator cover,i seem to remember they was very similar to the miller rough neck.:blob2:

Thanks for the help. The diagram in the lid was too tattered to be of much help, however your comment about this being simular to the Miller Roughneck was correct. They are almost exactly the same, the one or two differences are not worth mentioning.
I corrected the wiring and it runs and works great!
Have a cold one on me.

By the way, for anyone reading this, I have only been a member of weldingWeb for about a week. WHAT A GOLD MINE OF KNOWLEDGE. I wish I had found this a looooong time ago.

You might ask on Lincoln's web site. Lincoln purchased Airco a few years ago and they could have bought the machine div. also. John Welcome
