I have had a very old Lincoln AC welder for about 15 years now that I purchased used from a local welding buisness and I was wondering if anyone has any info about it.
It uses an array of plug in choices for welding heat and it has three ground plugs. It also has a built in 6 volt battery charger circut.
The plugs take a flat plug (about 1/2" wide x about 3" long) to plug into the holes. I made a set out of standard round plugs that I beat to flatten, then ground to fit.
The welder is all copper, and is a tombstone variety - but seriously predates all the normal Lincoln tombstone welders that I have seen.
The thing burns like crazy and I have used (and abused) it faithfully for all these years. I can try to get a digital pic of it if that would help with the identifiation.
One reason I'm asking is that I am wondering what the actual capacity of this welder might be, and if it is possible that it could be convertable to dc as well. It has a couple unusal features such as a plate on the front of the welder that looks as if it might be something that could be turned to a different position or something.
Anyone with specs would be greatly appreciated.
