I enjoyed the Harbor Freight bandsaw so much that I bought the drill press when it went on sale. Well the switch went out after a few months so I called and was informed that all parts are ordered by 1-800. Did the ‘please hold because you are so important and our customer service is so good’ thing; Told the Hindu lady the unit number and part number, then found out it would take two weeks to ship. Oh, BTW, not in stock…it will get there maybe whenever. So I pulled all three of the switch parts off the plastic POS and glued a piece of wood over the hole and put a toggle switch in place. Much better then the original switch and no BS. Back to happy again or a close facsimile.
