Would that be a foot control or hand control???
Can you give us a better clue? Thanks.

its the controller that has a 14-pin connector to plug into the miller power supplies (bobus, TB, dynasity). you need it to run a spoolgun. the spoolgun will run on a mm251 without it. not sure about the smaller mm, maybe they will. have to check the owners manual.

Backuproller is correct. The WC-24 weld controller would attach to my XMT's 14-pin connector and my 30A spoolgun's pin connector would in turn attach to the WC-24. The WC-24 is just a small electronics-filled box powered by the XMT's 24 volt pins. It helps control the spoolgun's wire feed drive, etc. Thanks for asking.:waving:

Dmaxer, i checked the local rags here and no one has one for sale, but there are some on ebay.

IIRC.
Dmax you should post you needs over on www.shopfloortalk.com someone over there might have a spare one.
I have a WC-24 but I need mine, sorry.

Since I've been researching about these devils so much lately, I figured I'd share so far what I've found out--
The WC-24 changes 24v ac to 24v dc for running a Spoolmatic from a Trailblazer, or any DC/CV machine with a contactor and 24v ac output on a 14-pin connector.
The SGA100 changes 115v ac to whatever voltage the Spoolmates run on (anybody know what voltage that is?), so a Spoolmate can be run from any DC/CV machine that has a contactor, like a Millermatic.
The SGA100C does the same thing as the SGA100, except adds a contactor, so a Spoolmate can be run from a Bobcat, or any DC/CV machine without a contactor.
The WC-115A changes 115v ac to 24v dc for running a Spoolmatic on any DC/CV machine with a contactor.
The WC-115A w/ contactor... well that's self explanatory :).
The PSA-2 changes 115v ac to 24v ac for running Suitcase RC feeders, as well as 22- 24- and 75-series feeders, and allows two types of contactor control for older Hubble-connector machines and newer 14-pin Amphenol-connector machines, but has no contactor in the PSA-2.
The PSA changes 115v ac to 24v ac.
If anyone has more info to share, chime in!

Thanks to all who replied to my initial post as I've acquired what I needed. I have purchased a used WC-24.

My Spoolmatic 3 runs directly off the 14 pin connector of my XMT-300. Reading all this caused me to dig out the schematics. The XMT-300's 14-pin connector does, indeed, have 24ac at "socket a" with respect "socket g". The old Spoolmatic 3 comes with a 14-pin connector and has an internal circuit board (PC1) that has the recitification circuit to provide the dc voltage the wire feed motor needs.
I'm beginning to see how the new spool guns got lighter and more compact.

Thanks for sharing that, Jim! Info on the older equipment isn't as easily available as for the newer stuff.
I should have specified earlier that I was referring to the current Spoolmatic-15/30 series guns that run on 24v DC.
I am now in the process of converting my XR-15A push-pull gun into a Spoolmatic-15A, just ordered all the parts today. :)
