View Full Version : Dockson torch
Hi all, Does anyone know anything about these torches besides it old?I hooked it up and it was leaking through the oxy lever fitting. There is a pin, spring,"cup","bowl" set up.The question is ...Is there "O" rings that go between the cup and bowl or is that carbon build-up?I see alot of carbon in that chamber and that is what got me thinking.(and also got me thinking flame arresters). Can anyone help?
Thanks,

Sorry, I don't now much about them except to say that the company went out of business some years ago. We had a set of Dockson O-A cutting and welding torches that my Dad bought. They lasted close to 40 years but the cutting torch develped a leak and i couldn't find anywhere to get parts or data on them so they were tossed.
Time to get a new Victor set, eh?
I got them to quit leaking for the most part I did find that the rubber seat was not square and flat I fixed that problem now it comes out around the pin when the oxygen lever is depressed.I have looked all over the net trying to find parts and nothing.I just appreciate my buddy for loaning them to me and was trying to fix them for him in the process. They look like a good heavy duty set of torches it's a shame you can't get parts anymore.
Thanks,
