Took me several days to get the air compressor up and running.

I am going to start with restoring that steering sled against the bench. #1 son wants one really bad. It is held together with rivets and has a lot of slip joints. I don't know if I can find the replacement rivets so I think I will use 1/8" round stock and TIG washers on the end. Has only snowed here once so maybe I can finish before next snow.

An oxygen acetylene cart would fit right next to the tig welder :waving:
Seriously Nice looking shop. I wish I had the room

As best I can see it, even with the trifocular goggles, it appears to be a Flexible Flyer.
If so, don't forget to parafin the boarde where they slip thru the frame to eliminate binding in the turns. Those things were great downhill, but a real letdown on the uphill drag.

Hello all. Enjoy reading all the threads. Learned a lot already. In the process up getting back into welding projects. My wife says 1grnlwn's before picture is still a lot neater than my garage. Short term thing until new shop is done.
If you all can stand some more pictures, I'll post some before, during, and during. After never seems to get here.

1grnlwn- Nice shop! I'll bet you can't keep it that neat and clean!

fla. jim- I don't think a shop rat would be comfortable there..especially after she who must be obeyed saw just how much stuff you have in there!
