Thanks for letting us know. That one is a bit of a stumper, but we are now looking into it and will get it repaired as soon as possible.

I'm sure 99% of the people here use spell check so much they wouldn't know if you spelled a word wrong anyway.

Heak my spell check went crazy after typing just that one sentence...

Thank you firefox!

At the risk of inciting panic, the old spellcheck utility was not part of our forum software, but was an outside utility that poses a security issue for the site. We are looking for a new utility, but in the meantime simply ask for your patience and that you use your own best judgment in spelling out all the hard werds.

Thanks.

I use Spell Catcher by Rainmaker software. It is pretty wild.

http://www.spellcatcher.com/

They have a 15 day free trial.

It has always worked well, except for a short while when they brought out a new version of Windows Internet Explorer and then did an automatic update. But in two days there was a new version of Spell Catcher.
Everything had worked, except that for two days I could not automatically spell check in the search boxes in Internet explorer.

This is a demo of it working on my machine.

This is how I use Spell Catcher. I Have been using it for a millennium. I have been very happy with it so far.

Sincerely,

William McCormick
