Anyone ever used a Miller AC/DC thunderbolt as a tig source?
I have heard some conflicting reports. This would be for a home use type set up.
Thoughts?
Thanks, Doc.

It all depends on how good a TIG machine you expect to end up with. You can add a HF unit and get it to do AC TIG, but you won't be able to set it up with a foot pedal, so your control is limited. Same for DC. IMHO, you'd be a lot better off just spending your $$ on a rig designed for what you want.
