I used the drill press clamp idea for a past thread but I got sick of adjusting it all the time so this is what I came up with. Its just a 11sp lockjaw, slightly modified.

I had to add a spacer to the pad due to a minor miscalculation and notch the mount plate to get close to the work piece sometimes.

I will someday make another plate that is offset to the left of the grove to ease clamping as now it is a little close to the saw when lining up my cut.

That's a great idea. These things are where the HF cheapo vice grips are nice. Cut 'em and make clamps. I've got the wet table on a drill press and made a couple similar for use with slot nuts.

Thank you Sandy I agree last I checked HF had 2 11 inch swivel pads for 9 or 10 bucks.
