Need info on prep for UA21 and UA41 certs

The steps , I'll give an example the the 3g butt plate weld I know how to do.
First grind surface flat to 37.5 degrees then grind 1/8 lan on edge for the 1/8 rod. Then set two pieces 1/8 apart and tack weld with welder at 76 crisp with 6010 or 5p. Run bead , Grind out welded area , then set welder to 85 soft and run hot pass with 7018, then run fill pass with 7018, and last run cap with 7018. I am almost posetive this is the same procedure for the UA21 cert. But I need info on set-up and prep for the UA41. Take a look at this website to give you an idea of what I mean with certs.
