G'morning,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Thaddeus. I am here because I will be learning GTAW for the next little while and will be asking for advice.
I am going to be building a 'Locost' Lotus 7 replica out of square steel tube and my research told me TIG would be the best way to arrive at a frame of acceptable quality.
I have a number of other metal-working projects under my belt. here's a few pictures of things I have made in the last couple of years.
100 pound silicon bronze bell I cast:

An electric-assist recumbent tricycle (done with wire-feed Lincoln... eh)

And a racing sailing dinghy based on an Alumacraft canoe I cut apart and re-formed using rivets. MAN I wish I had welded it!

I look forward to meeting you all and learning much!
cheers
