I am going through a constat battle do I see well or do I breath well. I use a 3M half mask which works good but my safety glasses fog up so I cant see anything. Just wondering if anyone has found a set of glasses that dont fog while using a mask. thanks

You should be able to find an anti-fog cloth or paste at a ski shop, sports shop, or motorcycle shop. A product called "cat crap" is popular. Clean the lens inside and out, smear a tiny bit of the stuff on, then polish with clean soft cloth. The lens will be fog-free for hours.

Good luck finding a good pair that don't fog up. I have tried several and no luck yet. Now I just use a full shield. That works for me.

Sorry I didn't have better news, but if you happen to come across a pair that really works, Please post it up for me. Thanks

It's not the glasses so much as putting on the anti-fog. It works. Many industrial safety glass cleaning stations use the wipes with the anti-fog built in. They work well.

Is it really cat crap? seriously, what is it?

go to a paintball shop(or web site)they have been battling the fog problem for years. There is all kinds of sprays and pastes that really work. I use a sheild too. but that sometimes fogs up too. mostly in the morning.

Not a clue, really. Some sort of wax, I suspect.

Also available in a spray bottle.

Rain X, found at any retailer that sells windshield washer fluid.

If you happen to have a Shaklee distributer somewhere in your area, Basic H is fantastic to keep the fogging down.

The generic "anti-fog" stuff for windshields works some of the time, some times it doesn't. Just depends on the brand more than what you are using them on.

A couple of drops of liquid dish washing detergent works as well as anything I have found. One has to use it sparingly or you get streaking and rainbows.

I recently had a bad cold and could not breath thru my nose under my hood, talk about miserable... It made my glasses fog up real bad.
In a pinch you can spit on your glasses and wipe them off with a napkin, spit keeps fog down for a while, its cheap and is a renewable resource.

Scuba divers have been spitting in their masks to reduce fogging for years.

Dont do it with a dip of snuff, it does not work well.
