We currently have two positions open for welders who have shop experience with Mig/Tig. You would be responsible for welding with a variety of exotic metals that are used in the Aerospace industry. The welding equipment is cutting edge so you must be familiar with the latest technology. You would be welding materials for satellites and missile systems for a variety of aerospace clients in the Bay Area in Northern California. The pay range on the job is based on experience, but it is in the $27-$35/hr range based on experience.

For $35, maybe I should consider moving. Then again, according to Salary.com, the cost of living there is 67% higher than it is here. :(

It is definitely not cheap to live in the Bay Area. However, we never scrape snow off of our windshields or have any hurricanes or tornadoes. (we do have those pesky earthquakes once in a while but for the most part you never notice them)

Seriously, it is a great place to live if you enjoy a wide variety of things to do and see.
