I have a friend that has a hypertherm powermax900 for sale Iwould like some input on how I can find more info on this machine it is spotless only used about 6 times price is firm at 2000 but it would be very handy in some spots thanks

I think your friends price might be a bit high, even as good as the machine is. I know I can get a new powermax 1000 for $2170 at my LWS. You might be able to trim the price for a powermax 1000 a bit if you hunt online or fleabay. I doubt the $170 savings is worth the lack of waranty and a product that is out of production even if parts are readily available. I might bite in the $1500-1800 range. Kinda hard to ask a friend to move on a firm price usually.

The 900....while a great machine....has not been manufactured for 5 or 6 years, it was replaced by the 1000. The price is a bit high....if it is perfect, it should be around $1500.
