I just found this site. It seems real cool with some good info and some nice projects. There seems to be some real talented people on her.
My name is Doug and I am 38. I have been welding for a few years but am not cert. yet. Most of my welding is light gauge. (16-14ga) I weld grease duct for work sometimes. I am a sheet metal instaler for a hvac company.
I started taking classes a few weeks back so I can get cert. My goal is to be able to weld 1 inch pipe for natuaral gas lines. We mostly thread pipe but some projects call for it to be welded and we have to sub out are work.
well it is nice to be here and I hope I can learn some tricks from you guys and maybe pick your brain but dont pick mine. Theres not much left. LOL
