The 3M 6000 series is a good respirator. The pink filters are good for most weld applications but if they're not enough the mask accepts a charcoal canister that will fit under a narrow hood. I used to swear by what I think was the 3250 series but it's been a while and I'm not sure of the number...it doesn't come up as a current mask on a google search ?

I have the 6000 series too. The 7000 and 8000 series are reusable.

Just remember that a respirator only filters out the bad stuff, it doesn't supply oxygen. In a confined space it's best to have a supplied air respirator or actively replacing the air in the tank using blowers or fans.

6000 with pink filters here too. The pink filters come in standard or with a thin charcoal layer to filter out odors. I was able to find a case of filters on ebay pretty cheap.
