Needed an easier way to get mowers off trailer so I constructed a side gate. Now I dont have to unload all mowers just to get the one up front.

I love the concept, but I gotta ask, did you reenforce the frame under the gate?
The top rail you took out for the gate is actually a major structural element of the trailer itself.
In keeping with the LawnSite tradition, where is the easy lift garage door spring contraption?

Nice attachment to your trailer, hats off to someone that likes to mow, here in texas all we mow is the top soil not enuff rain to make the grass grow unless wife starts using well water but then i tell her pumps down so i dun hafta mow lol.

rodburner...I live in abilene for 32 years until I got out of the Army....So are the B1B flying over your head? And I like how pjs did his trailer Iam going to do one like that.

That is correct Franz. It does weaken trailer a little. Trailer has a wrap around tongue which make it a bit sturdier than trailers without, otherwise some reinforcing definately would be needed. it flexes slightly but no problems in the two years now and the benifits outway the drawback. I guess Im a little behind as I have no assist yet for the gate :cry:

Yea Robert those B1's fly over most all the time specially when ya need to hear exactly what they're sayin on a really good part on a tv show lol
