<b>Required Education:</b> High School Diploma/G.E.D.
<b>Base Pay:</b> $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
<b>Full Time</b> – 2nd Shift.
<b>Job Description:</b>
• Perform multiple pass fillet and bevel welds using flux core and gas metal arc welding
• Use arc welder and electrode rods to perform tack bead welds
• Use hand and power tools to grind, bevel, fit metals and remove slag
• Perform hand welding, stick welding and regulates current and time
<b>Skills/Experience/Traits of Qualified Candidates:</b>
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints as they relate to welding and fabrication
• Submerged arc welding experience a plus
• MIG Welding
• Must be able to work on large welding operations
• Have flexibility to handle changing priorities and demanding work schedules
• Must be able to withstand physical demands of position, such as working in hot conditions, vertical and horizontal working conditions (e.g. pulling hot gears from furnace), and working at substantial heights for welding of large parts
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be a team player
