I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but the only function I can get to work at all is stick welding.
The plasma cutter just runs air constantly and does nothing when you hit the switch. I tried it on AC and DC.
In TIG mode it will flow gas and the machine does make a clicking noise when I hit the switch, but no arc, not matter where I put the settings. Pedal attached, no pedal, doesn't seem to matter.
I say the stick function worked but I did not have any welding rods so I was just using a pice of aluminum filler rod as the stinger. It made an arc, so I guess it works.
The digital display shows 7 all the time, it does not alter with the control knobs.
Just so everyone knows If you order an extra consumables for the models with the new 60 amp pilotArc torches you only get half as many for the $150 kit.
