Hobart Handler 140 - $419

Just bought a HH140 last nite at Tractor Supply Co.
Their current price is $419. Pretty good deal.

so how good or how bad does it work? i was looking at the same one today at a tractor supply. the weld supply store says that Miller bought Hobart and are now making some of the Hobarts on Miller lines. the ones at the tractor supply arn't the same make, even though the boxes and welders are the same? tractor supply is about 100bucks cheaper. i'm inclined not to believe that the two welders are different.

I'm with you there. I'd think that a "HH140" would be a HH140 where ever you bought it give or take a few goodies in the box like with or without regulaters. There could be a few differences where some components come from depending on each plants contracts but the basic specs should be the same for any one model number.

Like a lot of things, the model of this year may not be quite the same as the model of yerster-year. The case this year might be one bazzillionth thinner than last years,,,,things like that.

thats what have from Tractor Supply. This thing has payed for itself a hundred times over. Price is the only reason I bought it there.
