Anyone else do fence building?
I have 14 acres and some animals. Last summer I got myself setup with a gas powered welder(PowerArc 5500) cutting tourch and a small trailer I pull behind my atv. Luckily I have a small tractor/auger also.

So I put up about 2500' of pipe fence with 4 sucker rod rows. A 14x20' overhead and two huge 9' gates that someone gave me.

I had never welded anything in my life but I had been around some welders as a kid. Anyway I've got the best looking fence around and I've been told many time how well it looks because is doesn't roller coaster and is nice and straight.

I took me forever though. I'm thinking now I might start looking around for some work. I'm probably going to loose my job sometime this summer so I may need the work.

I was wondering if anyone else does that much. I'll probably have to learn to use cable instead of sucker rod.

I've been known to put up a fence or two using pipe. (click on my "life is good")

I don't think that links. I get a animation search page.

Hey good ole' Wylie. We're practically neighbors.

Oh Hang on Neighbor I clicked on your profile and found your website. Uh, okay so I feel like I just struck oil or something. Thats a lot of info!. I sure wish I'd found that a year ago. Oh well like you said if it was easy...

I look forward to learning a couple of things.
