Hi Folks...

I've tried to get this webside to "Remember" me by clicking on the "Remember Me" box next to the logon boxes; but it doesn't seem to be working. I know I've done this many times; but it's still a "No Go". Is there something I can do from here to remedy this ?

Thanks !

What kind of internet connection are you using? Are you shutting it off between visits?

Hi There...

Believe it or not, this is a "Dial-Up" connection. No... I'm not shutting it off between visits; but I do logoff whenever I leave. When I return, I logon, (checking the "Remember Me" Box), then check on my postings for any responses. Still nothing after many, many attempts.

Thanks !

When you click on "Remember Me", you are in essence allowing the forums to set a cookie on your computer with your login information. If you are clearing out your cookies, then you are removing that cookie as well, thus removing the "Remember Me" as well. You could also have your computer set to disallow cookies. Whichever one is causing your problem is coming from your own computer.

Hi Again...

No... I'm pretty certain that I've tried to test that "Remeber Me" feature without having deleted my cookies. I'll keep trying; but hope you can think of other possibilities.

Thanks !

Check to ensure that your system isn't blocking cookies from being set.

I just Logged Out. The window came back with something like 'all cookies cleared'. Then when I clicked on my favorites 'WW', it made me login. So, don't log out, just click on the red X to close the window (which is what I always do). When you return, it will ask you again to 'remember you' and then it will.

Definitely try deleting your cookies. Sometimes the file gets so full that old, established cookies stop working. We get this kind of question at least once a month, and that usually solves the problem.
And make sure your privacy settings are accepting cookies.
