Never heard of the gas being sized in pounds. Sometimes maybe propane.
I don't know what other people have, or really what size acetylene tank you have. I use a 130+/- cu. ft. acetylene tank with a 145 cu. ft. O2 tank. The acetylene will last approximately for four refills of the O2 tank if I remember right. And that depends on whether you use large heating nozzles. They use acetylene up much faster.
No such thing as a match really. Pick the size that's easy for you to move around. Bigger O2 tanks last longer, but so do hernias:laugh:

r u trying to get tanks that will run out thesame time? if you weld they will use about 50/50. if you cut you will use like farmersamm says about 3 or 4 oxygen to one acetylene

This is the only pic I have of my tanks. As you can see, I have a smaller 02 tank than a lot of guys. I don't mind going to get it refilled every so often. It does last quite a while for a guy like me. You can cut quite a bit of steel with 145 cu. ft. of oxygen.
I just don't like dealing with the bigger tanks. On a portable rig, it would be different.
I hope this gives ya an idea of sorts

I don't read for crap!!!! You said 80cf, not lbs. Sorry.
You'd need one big azz 02 tank, somewhere around 300cf to make 'em come out even on runout. Need a forklift to move it:jester:

Looks like your setup will last for sometime depending upon what you are doing with it. The really big tanks are more economical but harder to deal with.
