Well I couldn't figure out what the heck the thing was made of! Now that I know that's a pretty unique job of recycling.
Is that HUD (Hound Urban Development) approved?:D

I don't know if it's really recycling, but I'm sort of in the midst of parting out 4 70's model Chevy trucks to make a "new" 1974 C-30 one ton. (So's I can burn MORE fossil fuel:rolleyes:)

Wasn't trying to be smart or anything - just didn't want to bore everyone with the same stuff. Thanks for the kind words.:)

Oh, I almost forgot.....................
My septic tank is a wee bit closer to the drinkin' well than it oughta be. So there's a tiny lil' chance I might just be recyclin' more than I know:laugh:

Foo Foo and Fee Fee sleep with us, Sherman sleeps in the maytag (which is insulated with 1" stirofoam and paneled). Trixy sleeps in her recycled freezer.

Now we know about you. I'm surprised. Don't you have septic tank police where you live? I had to put in a new one a couple of years ago. If you have to work on one here it has to be brought up to code. Only way to do that was a new one. They measured how far it was to the well. Not the installers, the state inspector that signs off on the permit.

The septic dates back to sometime during Grama's lifetime. I think she might have put a new one in sometime in the late 50's. Same one's still there.
We don't have to have a permit to build, plumb, or do electrical work out in the counties around here. In town there's code enforcement.
Sometimes someone'll rat you out to the State somehow. Then I've heard EPA can get involved. There's a guy that raised horses who got into some deep crap about how he had his sewage run. He had a pipe runnin' from the house out to a gully on his place. Probably been there all his lifetime. New people bought some property near him, and started raisin' Hell to someone. Before ya know it, the damn EPA fined the guy, and he had to clean up the gully. He almost lost his place because of the expense. Folks always seem to want to get into your business. See more and more of it with all the people from Tulsa/OKC movin' onto the places around here.
It's common to run the commode to the septic tank, and all the sinks to a straight line that dumps somewhere out in the yard a ways from the house. (No garbage disposal in the kitchen sink of course)
Most of the old timers live up into their 90's, so I guess it ain't killin' everybody off.:)
But a lot of us are kinda weird:D:D

When I moved into this house the showers weren't plumbed, they just dumped into the crawl space. I found that out when the sump pump quit and the space filled with water.
I once lived in a house in PA where the sink drains went directly to the garden.

Well they did in the horse breeder's case! I suppose they were only going through the motions!
Is that commode as in a seat with a removable seat and it's plumbed to the septic? Most commodes here are like trailer boat toilets, bucket and chuck it.

Got a couple of 5 gallon oil packs as chook nests and of the six of them, one lays in one of them regularly. Just about to place an old garden shed in their run to make a coop. I've arranged to get some worms before Christmas to start a small worm farm to get vermicast and worm tea. Depending on how that goes, may set up a larger one for the orchard.
Great dog kennel there Magnetic Mechanic. If you put the belt back on and an alternator, you could get poochy running and make power!
Patrickp are those Heelers? Fine dogs if they are.
