We've heard a lot about the hf bandsaws. What do you guys like in a 7x12 saw? unfortunately budget is a big consideration. been looking at the Jet on account of the $100 rebate we got coming. Thanks in advance!

I like Grizzly and I also have a Jet. Jet is a good saw, far superior to Harbour Flotsum, and you will get customer support.
Enco & MSC are both the same company now, and generally the same product will be less dollars at MSC.
This link will give you some interesting information on improving even a Harbour Flotsum saw into a worthwhile machine.

J and L has a web site at http://www.jlindustrial.com. For the $439 7x12 band saw browse the sale flyer valid from 2/01/2004 - 3/31/2004.
J and L is a unit of Kennametal (the tooling and carbide company).
