How do I turn off the 'User is online' green dot? Is that an option here, as it is on some other VB boards?
I think I've searched everywhere in the profile screens. What did I miss?

OK, I give up. Exactly why would you want/need to do that?

It keeps the ex-girlfriends from harassing you. :D
If that's a problem on this board, it's not your only problem

Nothing that dramatic! It's simply how I have my profile set, on a couple other boards that run on VB. No big deal if that option isn't available here.

I use it when I am logged in as a Moderator on another forum. It keeps people from bugging you via PM for things because they see you are on. In the VB software, it is called invisible mode:

We have not made the option available at WeldingWeb. We simply feel that when you're here it's not a secret.
