sp-135 plus help

Just picked up a used lincoln mig. Guy said if It didn't work could return it to him. I purchased some .030 flux cored, set everything up, turned on the welder, pushed the trigger and nothing. I have used the sp 135 before so I am fairly certain that I have evrything dialed in right. Any ideas on what could be going on. Wire does spool out of the gun. When I push the trigger and I strike the wire on the metal, I do get a tiny spark but other than that nothing.

dunno! bad ground!does the wire still spool up while touching to work?i would say polarity but an arc would still be established!as i said first.......dunno!best of luck and post what you found out!
