Did you form the piece or was it a prebent insert that you bought? If you formed it, how thick is it and what process did you use.?

Very Nice work. I get farmers that go to auctions and buy backhoe bucket that don't fit the boom , the pins aren't spaced right, or pin holes are different than what they need. So they come to me to make the bucket fit their backhoes. I also Have bought several different buckets and converted them over to fit my Ford New Holland 555E backhoe.

i also redo buckets to fit differnt machines i enjoy it. i hade a shop bend the caps it is ar 400 1/4

How crucial are the pin pivot points?
Do you align them to the machine(taking into account wear, bending, etc), or just make sure they're trammed/aligned as the bucket sits(ie., like a brand new bucket)? Hope I phrased that right.
I'll never do anything this size, but it's always a source of worry when I fix an old part that's been on a piece of equipment for a long time.
