With all the negative remarks about customer service on here it’s a bit refreshing to post something positive about Alex/Everlast. As many may have read in the other thread I had a long standing issue obtaining a 3-in-1 welder that I purchase over a year ago from Everlast.

To sum things up the welder was lost due to DHLs carelessness in shipping. All the paper work was filed and the claim was settled many months ago (albeit almost 8 months later and to Everlast not me.) I was out a welder and my cash for about a year. I’m a mechanical engineer and often travel overseas for periods at a time due to work. This further complicated the situation and a communication breakdown occurred. I tried to contact Alex quite a few times while I was overseas but was unsuccessful. It wasn’t until I stumbled onto this forum that I was able contact both Alex and Mike.

Alex promptly contacted me and said he would make things right. He explained what happened with the claim and in the end we struck a deal that would make both of us happy. He explained they were getting a shipment of new model welders in the coming weeks and would be very happy to upgrade my unit to a larger one to compensate for the lost time. I accepted and waited patiently.

Shortly after, I got a message stating the new welders were in stock. I quickly sent my shipping information and to my GREAT surprise I found a brand new welder sitting at my home just a few days later!

I have to say that in business there are situations that can occur beyond your control that can lead to negative consequences. My case is a perfect example. In good business practice and customer service Alex went ahead and made things right. I am very happy with the way things have turned out and wanted to share my positive experience with Everlast.

Seeing that I have struck up somewhat of a personal relationship with Everlast (from all our correspondence) and the manner in which Alex took care of my specific issue; I will be purchasing a few more pieces of equipment from them. I hope all future purchases go smoothly and quickly.

I have yet to plug in the welder but in the coming months I intend to do my own review of the machine and will keep all who are interested updated.

Thank you Everlast/Alex/Mike for working through my issue with me and making things right.

Hello Yellow

Please understand that about a year ago we had many units that were damaged in DHL shipment. We were are receiving about 5-8 checks from them weekly for the damage that they have caused. In your case, (you ask for a refund ) we did fax all the documents necessary to settle the claim with you not with us. So when you left for 8 month, I thought that you got paid and everything was alright.
Again we are very sorry for the trouble and enjoy your welder.

Thank you
Alex
