Currently at auction is a -
MILLER SYNCROWAVE 351, CC AC/ DC WELDING POWER SOURCE.
When they 'power source' I'm assuming they mean the machine
without the leads, pedal etc. Could I be wrong ?

I may be in over my head but this could be one of those golden opportunitys.

I doubt that I can test fire the machine so -
What do I look for - if I can open it up is there anything inside I need to look at ?

Are parts and service still available ?

Any Idea what it may be worth ?
An Ebay search brought up -0-.

Any input that might be helpful would be appreciated.

Thanx, Chuck U&R

You can go to Miller's web site and learn about Syncros or click on this link to the current production 350.
It is one hell of a power source, but I'd be a little hesitant to buy without test driving unless I bought it CHEAP.

I took the liberty of grabbing the Technical Manual of the Syncrowave 351 for you Chuck. Hope ITW doesn't reprimand me. You can also tell the age of the machine by the first two letters in the serial number. The first letter is the decade, J=80's, K=90's, L=00's. The second letter is the year, A=0, B=1, and so on. Hopefully you can identify it further to see f indeed it's a "golden" opportunity.

Good Luck

I would say that the 351 is a very nice machine. My brother in-law traded his in on a aerowave. It melted(nobody could fix it),so they bought a new 350DX.Now they are about back where they started!:D
