I Have an offer in on Ebay for a Super160 ac/dc pulse/ plasma does any one have one of these? Right now I have a Lincoln ac buz box and wanted to try a little more precise welding and more cutting options than my horiz. bandsaw. I hope the offer is accepted cause its over the "wife kills if she knew" point!

That is why you keep a little cash hidden in a book somewhere, a book she would never read. I'm sure it's in the MAN HANDBOOK and probably a single digit rule. Just kidding.
I've had the Super200P and now have the Super250Pi. TIG is not to hard, so you should like it (esp. if you have ever used oxy/acet), however, if you still have the arc welder mode and stinger. So you can still stick weld with it too.
You will need to get an argon bottle as well as a 7" electrode to use the tig. Does your Ebay sale include the foot peddle and argon regulator?
With that unit, you have plasma cutter, mma/arc, tig (ac/dc/pulsed DC). Only thing missing is the MIG.

Hello. I have the Super250P, which is very similar, and it is great so far. I was welding up an aluminum intake manifold for my 82' Yamaha this weekend and it went well, but I'm still learning. Your buzz box has much more output current, but these inverter units are much more efficient with much higher duty cycles and better control. Check out my review page for discussion on performance and controls as well as some pics and videos.
