Hi, new to this site. Currantly taking and AWS certification course from Quality Inspection Services Inc (welder traing and testing services) here in Buffalo. Should have done this years ago, as i have always been interested in anything that has to do with welding, cutting, machining, metal fab, ect, ect. I have a minor in Business, and was going to transfer to the University At Buffalo to futher pursue studies in that feild. Thing is, friends of mine who have done this are ending up with less than desireable jobs in that field. I thought "what the hell, i'd rather do what i like, instead of pushing paper behind a desk for less than desireable pay". So here i am. I have welded in the past (MIG, and flux cored wire), and decent with cutting torches. Currantly in the SMAW I module, overhead position in class. Can't wait for TIG, and MIG! Liking SMAW, very interesting stuff! Well, thats all, nice site BTW!
Best Regards,
Matt
