My nickname is Jeb, as you might have guessed by the screen name, I'm 31 and live in Valdosta, GA. I learned to weld in high school and have enjoyed it more and more ever since. In my senior year, I got a job at Purdue University in the welding shop as a helper. I gained alot of experience in the year I worked there. I wanted to see more of the world than just Indiana, so I joined the Air Force right out of high school and worked on the weapons systems of F-16 fighters for a little over 4 yrs. I learned a good bit about mechanics and a good bit about life from that experience. After seeing what Clinton was doing to our military, I figured that it was time to pull the ejection handle, so I got a job at the Lowe's distribution center here in Valdosta as mechanic. I work on electric and gas forklifts, motorized conveyor systems, switch trucks, and anything else that Lowe's owns at our facility (yes even the occasional toilet) . I am always fabricating something to make my job or our job as a shop a little easier. I love metalwork and wish I could do more of it, but my job keeps me so busy with other things, that it's hard to get into the welding shop sometimes. I own a Victor Firepower O/A setup, and am looking to buy a MIG, not yet decided on size, I know it'll be a Miller of some sort. Anyhow, I've been lurking around the board for a little while and thought that it was time to introduce myself. I've really enjoyed reading ya'lls posts and I am glad to a member of a board with such courteous and proffessional fellas as ya'll.
Later gators,
Jeb
