Synchrowave input

i just bought a used synchrowave 350lx tig machine. It requires 230v/130a single phase power. I know that is a sh** load of power. The electrician is saying its going to be nearly impossible to get that much amperage to my garage. my only option at this point is to have the electric company run a seperate line to my house from the transformer. have any of you guys done this before? i've got no idea how much it will cost. Any experiences or ideas would help. thanks.

The power company will not charge you for additional single phase service. They want to sell you the power. I have never seen them do it anyway. Areas of the country may be different.
